Behavior change Interventions

This course provides behavior change considerations discussed including unwanted side effects of various intervention strategies. This course covers an Introduction to and overview of Behavior Reduction and Replacement, matching law and differential reinforcement, antecedent Interventions in the treatment of problem behavior, decelerating behavior through function-based treatment and punishment-based procedures, developing behavior plans.


Skill Acquisition

This course provides an overview of defining target behavior and mastery criteria, identifying the key elements of goals and objectives that are clear, observable, and measurable. In addition to ways to determine the educational methods and teaching protocols for target behaviors, such as errorless learning, shaping, modeling, backward or forward chaining, etc. it also discusses prompt fading procedures. It also includes discrimination training, verbal behavior and errorless learning, correction procedures and other topics.



Assessment Protocols

This course provides a detailed explanation of different assessments protocols such as ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP, AFLS, EFL, and other assessments. In this course students will learn how to implement each assessment and how to create skill acquisition plans based on the information gathered from each assessment.
